WinXP, how to change the size of QuickLaunch Bar?

I just recently changed from Windows2k to WindowsXP Professional, and I've noticed that there isn't a way to resize the quicklaunch bar the way Windows2k allows you to. Is there a way to resize this?

Methinks you've got the Taskbar locked. Right click in a clear Blue section of the Taskbar, uncheck the Lock the Taskbar option, resize your quick launch bar and re-lock.

No problem, don't you like it how Microsoft subtely changes these UI things so that even if you've been using WIndows for years you feel like a complete newbie??
