WinXP help

I read in an issue of PC Magazine that explained, among other things, how you can get Windows XP's startup to appear like the Win2k startup in order to better protect your passwords or something along those lines.

I just reformatted my computer and have lost the magazine and was wondering if anyone knew what I was talking about.

Thanks.

It's in control panel under user accounts somewhere. I can't tell you exactly where since I'm attached to a domain and the option isn't available (mine already has a ctrl-alt-del login screen due to the domain).
