winxp explorer.. keeps going to tile view??

for folder views. i keep it at detail view.. but every so often, explorer will display in tile format. anyone have any idea why??

Set one folder up exactly how you like it and then go to the folder options and apply the "make all folders like current one" option. Thereafter every single folder you open should be just like you set the original to look like.
