When did it start? When does it occur (during boot, during installation, while working?)

RAM could be bad, BIOS settings could be unstable, hard drive could be losing it ...

Yeah - check the WinTV-PVR link in my sig; that's a load of BSOD fun. It should give a STOP: 0x00000000 code where the 0's can be any number or letter; try entering that first string of numbers into the Knowledgebase search engine; might turn up a useful result.

i'm guessing you have something along the lines of this setup:

creative audio card/amd system/via chipset on motherboard

seems like you are having issues of IRQ conflict I had similar issues with my capture card till I messed around with the IRQ settings abit.
