WinXP BSOD Driver not less or equal rdbss.sys

i recently put together a computer using old parts i had and installed win XP on it, now i get bsod from rdbss.sys and get the driver not less or equal msg. this happens when i reboot, try to install stuff from windows update or sometimes just randomly. anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

win xp with sp1
amd athlon 1.1ghz
asus a7v133 via chipset
radeon rage pro
