winXP and window managing issues (can't bring to foreground/background)

i doubt it's just my machine...but if you add a directory to your taskbar (i.e. a directory containing your music files) and left click that "toolbar" on the taskbar, then, say, right click a directory or file and Enqueue to or Play in winamp, trying to bring any windows to the foreground won't work...they just stay in their exact order at the time of enqueuing/playing in winamp...retarded.

anyone else get this? - i've had this issue for quite a while but never bothered raising it until now...it's irritated me the most right now for some reason

any solution to this (besides not enquing/playing files in winamp in this fashion or the like)?
