WinXP and Win2K Outlook Express with the same message store?

Hi,

I have both OSs running on the same OE message store, so my email is up to date whichever I sign into.

However 2K is running IE 5.5 and XP obviously has IE 6. Emails gathered in XP do not appear when 2K is loaded, nor do changes carry over (eg. if I move emails between folders)

I tried putting IE 6 on 2K a while back but it screwed Win Explorer, I couldnt collapse folders anymore.

Has anyone seen this problem and have a solution? Im going to try and put IE 6 on 2K again tonight, hoping that the problems with it have been fixed (since I hear it is going Gold this month)
