WinXP and Sblive woes

I just installed the RC2 build of WinXP and I noticed that with my 4 speaker setup with a Sblive card, I can only get audio out of the two front speakers. I selected the 5.1 surround setup in the Advanced settings, but Winamp still plays on the front speakers only. Any ideas folks?
 
Install Liveware. I know it sucks and is complete bloat but it's the only way I could get 4 speaker support on a friend's XP setup + Live!.
