winxp and safetp how to make it work?

Hi...

I need to run safetp on my system (my ftp access is demanding that we use this). But after I instal this all internet trafick goes dead. Like everything is blocked by this program. I guess that safetp and winxp are not highly compatible, but there should be a work around.. any suggestions?
