I have 2 network cards in my comp, one for cable modem and the other for home network. If I switch the 2 network cards, then I can't connect to the internet. It's fine if I switch them back. I tried setting up a new internet connection from 'Network Connections' but it can't complete b/c there's already an internet connection setup. I tried deleting the old connections but it won't let me. Anyone know how I can fix this? Thanx.

i would imagine that the network card you use for the internet has its MAC address registered to your ISP the same as mine so if you switch cards your ISP hasnt got the MAC adddress registered therefor it wont work unless your isp will allow more than one MAC address to be registered to your account (mine allows for 4 )

speak to your isp and ask the same question you will more than likley find they give you the same answer
