WinXP and installation of other (Windows) OSs

On my Abit KR7A-Raid, I can control the the disc the PC boots off of when using the raid controller. In effect I want to setup a dual boot scenario with WinXP and Win2k using this functionality but I already have WinXP on my system. My Win2k disc isn't bootable (trust me, its not) and when I stick the disc in while on WinXP, the OS disables any installation, all you can do is browse the disc. Is there anyway to disable this function in WinXP? I tried perusing the registry and gave up after an hour or so... thanks in advance, y'all!

First off, if your W2K CD isn't bootable, I suspect it's not genuine media.

In any case: you can make install boot floppies for W2K. On the W2K CD, go to <cdrom>\bootdisk\makeboot and use that to create the four boot install floppies. Boot to floppy 1 and use that to install W2K from the CD.

Its a back up I made of my orignal, honest! My son got a hold of the orignal (among other cd's) while I wasn't looking, and well lets just say I wish I had back ups for more than I had!
