I'm running WinXP Pro (legitly, not corp) and I'm having problem with IIS. I'm testing a web-based database application off my localhost. For some reason, it won't let me update the database. I get all the errors that point to the fact that the file is "read-only". I've tried about everything. Here's what I've done to no avail:
1) Set the "Write" permission via IIS for the database's directory
2) Made sure the database file's property is NOT set to "read-only"
3) Imported the database via Frontpage (used fpdb folder)
4) Restarted IIS and the OS many times
Did MSFT just screw up, or is it me (probably me, huh?)? btw, does anyone notice that they took out the Personal Web Manager?
Let me know if you can help me out.
Thanks in advance.
