i have winxp pro and am thinking of buying either ghost or driveimage 2002 or something else if you can recommend a better product. anyways i am trying to find out if i save everything on a back up will i have to re-register xp after i actually do reinstall the back up? not having to call microsoft each time i do a fresh install is worth the cost of ghost or whatever but would like to know before hand.

thanks in advance for any help 🙂

If you make the image of the drive AFTER you have registered/activated it, then you won't need to re-register/activate it

thanks 🙂 now to find a good and easy to use back up image program. any suggestions?

Drive Image is nice, i've used that before.

It allows you to burn directly to CD from the program, so you don't need another partition/drive to copy the image to before you can burn it!

Of course you can also copy it to another drive/partition as well if you want 🙂
