winxp and audigy install problem....

I have installed my audigy mp3 to my winxp and it doesn't freeze per say but never will enter into winxp...

I have tried going into safe mode and install drivers...still no help

I have tried to install software so I can install update...still no help...both say they can't find a soundblaster product installed...in safe mode or in normal winxp....

I had to pull it out of socket to get it to start...it wouldn't even start if I had it disabled but still in...


I know it is not a mobo issue as I have a dual boot system and it works nicely in win98.....


WINSUCK why or why do you this....


Any special install procedures necessary????

solved it...

I pulled the card...loaded into winxp where I ran some manual driver installs, then turned off comp...I reinstalled audgy into same slot then rebooted this time it grabbed it and I was in..I then immediately installed latest winxp drivers and the rest is history
