WinXP and ATA100?

I was wondering if ATA100 works in WINXP

i have an abit kt7a-raid with 30gig westerndigital ata100 7200rpm drive
1.33ghz 512ram
 
yes, it works.. I have the Epox EP-8KTA3 (motherboard) it has ATA100 IDE controllers built in, and they work.. and I have a Maxtor/Promise ATA PCI controller card, and that works with WinXP also. it even had the device drivers for it..
