WinXP Administrator Logon

zm2002

Banned
Good Day,

When installing Windows XP, it asks for a password for the Administrator account.

I'm used to work (in my offic) with win2000, so I would like to know 2 things if you can help 🙂 (basic questions, I know)

1. How do I logon as Administrator?

2. I'm used to Ctrl+Alt+Del and "Lock Computer" on windows 2000. Is it gone on WinXP? If not, where is it?

Thanks

1. Hold the Ctrl-Alt key and press Del
twice. This will bring up the normal login and you can log
on as Administrator
2. Winkey + L with Fast User Switching disabled.
