Winword(microsoft word 2000)

winword has caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:04322830 this happens when trying to scan a document in ms word 2000, not everytime but maybe every third or fourth time...i checked microsoft website for help and didnt find any help for this particular incident...the details say this registers EAX=81d30dlc EBX=81d30dbc CS=0177 SS=017f EIP=04322830 ESP=0752ff9c EFLGS=00210246 EBP=0752ffcc any ideas would be great, i have tried uninstalling and re-installing both ms word 2000 and the canon all in one software......i am at a loss....

I searched 3 major engines for that fault - no dice. Hmm, have you the latest updates from Microsoft?

yes i have all the latest updates, i am wondering if memory could be an issue here....i think i will run memtest and see what happens..
