WinTV & Win2000 problem

I recently installed Win2K from scratch on my new 8K7A+ rig. When I try to use my Hauppauge WinTV card the sound works when it shows the "Splash" screen, then the audio no longer works when the application is fully launched. I have installed the latest WinTV drivers and DirectX updates to no avail.

Any ideas?
