I'm a bit bummed... got my fancy-arse new box built w/ a K7T Turbo + Tbird 1ghz, 512m PC133, Win2k, etc etc. Was in the process of moving all of my old hardware from a MSI 6119 + P2-450:

Well, after installing the WinTV, I'm getting CRAP for video quality. Trippy horizontal line trailers behind any onscreen movement. Spoke w/ Hauppauge, they suggested that I install the Via 4in1 drivers. Did. No help. Uninstalled/Reinstalled the device and drivers numerous times, no better.
I haven't even tried DV capture thru firewire yet, but from what I gather about the WinTV problem (PCI bandwidth issues w/ the via chipset) I'm afraid I may have the same problem there.
Anyone have any other ideas I could try? Other than switching to an INTEL based "solution"?
