WinTV Remote, Manufacture Compatible Signal

I have my cable box hooked up to my comp and using it as my TV for my room.
My cable TV has a universal remote, it sucks having to go to my WinTV remote just for the volume. Is there a compatible brand for the WinTV remote; sony, RCA, Magnavox, ect?

I could buy a universal remote that can learn IR from other remotes, but from what i've seen there all pretty big, and can control 8 devices..kinda overkill for all i need is a TV and cable box remote.
