WinTV-GO/Radio on Win2k

Doe anyone here have the above setup? I've been reading thru newsgroups and it seems that Win2k users are getting poor quality while Win98 users are getting good quality video captures.

In fact, I went thru a year-old backup and played a WinTV recording. If the computer wasn't so slow back then, the quality would've been perfect. However, now, I'm on a better system and the WinTV quality is really trashy. Could there be a correllation between the quality and OS or is it me?

P.S. - YES, I'm using the latest drivers for every component I got and YES, I have done a clean install of them (after formatting the HD), so if you're gonna make suggestions please don't make the completely obvious ones

Edit: If anyone knows of capture cards (except AIW's) with good Win2k drivers, let me know
