I might swing by and pick it up. They're local to me and they always have old cards and hardware for cheap.

I would have to disagree. I bought from them on more than a few times, always received what I bought without a problem. Only thing is shipping is a little slow

I agree with estew33, I've purchased several items over the years and never had a problem. I would buy from again, shipping is slow though.

I've purchased successfully from them before, but in light of their performance ratings lately would definitely stay away until they get their sh!t together, if they ever do again.

The last card i tried had a horrible picture at full screen, using cable as the source. Wonder if this one is any better.

Yeah, I have found Dscaler with an old standard tv tuner card to be great and much better than the POS ATi tv tuner software.

They've had this tuner for a long while now(over a year). I think this is the third or fourth time someone has posted this item. Not a big deal considering some people might have missed or forgot about it. I've ordered about 10-15 times from Surplus and only had one order arrive late. They have good deals on Microsoft Mice/keyboards and MS Software.

I've order tons of stuff from them before and they all went without a hitch. Seems a bit shady to most new people but they do good business.

there's a thread floating around here somewhere where someone got burned but it appeared to me to be lack of "read-the-fine-print" on the buyers part.
