Winter rims - need those for next year

So I got a metal bolt in one of my tires last year and got it fixed. But my tire pressure still falls down slowly, I pump them every week. Due to this the tires in the front got pretty uneven and the tread got pwned. I had to rotate my tires and the pwned ones went to the back. This winter I've been sliding around like crazy on turns, and I literally have to go 10 km per hour or less or I go sideways.

My plan is to ride these tires out for this summer and when winter rolls around next year get a set of winter tires/rims. And for the summer Ill put on nice summer tires on my main rims.

Anyone know any good winter rims that aren't made in China and actually have some quality?

we do that too. a set of wheels and tires for winter and a set for summer. this works out well and its easy to change them yourself.

check out the dealer for new takeoffs, usually they will have a few sets around.

You need new tires...not rims.

Yea that's the plan 😀 Just looking for a set of winter rims that are descent quality and not the made in China junk they sell at Canadian Tire.

What's wrong with the regular steel wheels?

Maybe nothing, maybe something, either way if I could spend my money elsewhere and support USA/Canada I'd rather do that. I try to avoid Chinese products whenever I can. Good enough explanation?

They don't give you accidents, they bend easily and then yolu have to replace them cause they are crap

I see. Hopefully I don't run into that problem with mine.

If you just drive they are fine, its just usually slip sliding into curbs and frozen potholes is much easier in winter
