I had to stand in the middle of the stream to take the picture.. the water was cold! Good thing I have good waterproof hiking boots 🙂
The stream runs through my backyard.

Nice, you should try doing a time-lapse through the seasons.

I've wanted to do a time-lapse from several locations... I'll get around to it one of these days and start taking pictures bi-weekly.

you're so lucky to be able to HAVE WINTER. I'M SICK OF THIS 60 DEGREE SH!T. I WANT SNOW AND COLD, DAMNIT.

If the stream runs through your backyard, do you have generators set up? I've heard of people who have streams through their property put up generators for themselves... and even sell the excess power back to the power company!

OMG I feel the same way!!! This winter has been so pathetic, not even a bit of snow!!! Winter is almost over now and temps will rise and rise!

What a rip-off!!!

That's really pretty. Good pics.

Thanks. I was trying for a certain feeling in the picture... A short while before I took the picture, it was quite sunny outside and it looked really "warm". I was trying to get it to look nice, but still reflect some gloominess.

I didn't see who the OP was when I clicked on this thread, and I was 90% expecting to see steam rising off a stream of piss.

snow is not very fun after it snows everyday
this winter we've had alot of mud too -- keeps snowing then thawing :/
