Winter is off to an early and heavy start... got snow?

Winter started off early here in the High Sierras of California, just east of Yosemite. We have had about 3-4 feet of snow over the last couple of days... Picture from my bedroom window Pic.

Going to add some more pictures as I look through what I got, but been busy blowing snow... Those of you who ski Mammoth Mountain, better get ready for an early season! 😀

No snow here in the midwest yet. And that's a good thing.

I love snow.

Absolutely beautiful . . . we don't see enough of it in Saint Louis . . . and now I'm in Houston. I envy you.
 
I was going to ask how much has fallen so far but after looking at the picture with your dog that pretty much answers that question. All I can say is WOW. I'm still waiting for the first snow fall here. (MI)

Thanks for the compliments on the pics... Kalvin00, did you get much rain?

Edit to add: Its a little on the cool side out right now.... about 8 degrees farenheit at 11PM PST...
