So far i bought Company of Heroes and that FPS thats like Doom III (I forgot the name).

Planning on getting Fear Extraction point as well. is there anything else i should look into?

I prefer FPS's, but open to anything.

I think you mean Quake IV or Prey

Anyways...I'll update this post when games come into my mind.

How about some Battlefield 2? Maybe some Neverwinter Nights 2... Medieval II looks pretty good...

Looking pretty much more single as my bro will be hogging the bandwidth with BF 2 😉

Besides, the cable internet where i live isnt that good to begin with.

And yes, the game i was thinking of was Prey
 
Hmm, your internet connection must be piss-poor to not be able to handle two computers playing online games at the same time. The bandwidth requirement isn't much at all. My bro and I used to play DoD:S and other games at the same time on our damn near useless 384kbps/128kbps cable from Charter. It would run absolutely perfect, with both of our pings 30-50 when we found servers within 500 miles or so. OTOH, now we have 5mbps/512kbps cable from Charter, yet when roommates are using bittorrent, it makes it almost pointless to play online games.


I would check for HL2 Ep1... some places have been selling it for under $10 for a while now.

There haven't been a whole lot of good single player FPS games recently. Most of the good ones are a bit older.

Far Cry?

Prey and FEAR might be good choices, but I would personally only get them if they were very cheap. Quake 4 was well.

UT2004 if you don't mind playing with bots. That should be very cheap, and has excellent multiplayer as well, if your connection ever allows it.

There was a recent Hot Deal post for Prey, around $20 or so.

I probably won't be of more help at this point because I play FPS a lot, but strictly multiplayer.
 
Medieval 2: Total War. The grand campaign takes a loooooong time (took me about a week playing 3+ hrs/night and simulating almost all of the battles), and it's a good game to boot.
 
I was going to say Company of Heroes, but you already have it! I'll probably end up playing it exclusively until the new Command and Conquer game comes out (please EA don't screw this up!)

The connection IS piss poor. Above and beyond the bandwidth issue, my internet goes offline several times a day, so online games really arent worth it for me (bro apparently doenst mind).

Beat FC and EP 1, both fanatic

UT 2004 is always installed on the comp 😉
 
I got Neverwinter Nights 2 and Guild Wars Nighfall lined up for me. You might want to try maybe Oblivion? Shooters, althought people say no EA, BF is a pretty addicted series. I kinda like 2142

Just like they screwed everything else up? I used to play Zero Hour online but haven't lately... friend of mine recently told me that there's a new Scud Storm cheat similar to the old one.

What's up with people who keep mentioning the BF series, since Corporate Thug stated he's gonna be playing single player?

yeah, i love that game. it can be a bit slow starting but then it is all consuming 🙂
