WinSCP & Iphone

i'm trying to use WinSCP (http://winscp.net/eng/index.php) to copy and past some files to override on my iPhone (specifically, some keyboard image files.)

has anyone ever done this? it requires a Host name (my IP Address?) a User name (?) and Password (?)

where can i get the (my) username and password?

EDIT: username was "root", password was "alpine"

Do you have OpenSSH installed? You need that on and enabled. Also you need to be on the same network the computer you're trying to SSH with is on-- kind of a no-brainer, but never know.

Then just put in the IP address into the host name, root into user name, and alpine into password. Give it a minute if it's your first time doing it as it might take a little while to generate the key, hit accept, and you should be good.

yea i got into my IPhone's subsystem with the username and PW in the OP.

what im' trying to do now is get rid of a corrupted APP installed & replace the original iPhone keyboard images (theres 2 i heard)

where can i find the original iphone keyboard images in the system?
