Winrar slow extraction

Is it just me or does extracting files via winrar take forever when my computer has been on for a long time. File that take seconds to complete are taking minutes, my computer has only been on for a little over 24 hours.

Yes i have a 64 bit OS, and im using a 64 bit WinRar.

If what your saying is your finding your WINRAR extraction performance to be degrading over time then I suspect you have a memory leak somewhere. If not, you could try defragging the volumes and turning off the AV when extracting and see if that helps things.
