Winodws 2000 Server Question

Why on Windows 2000 Server do I have each 2000 client using two client access license? One registers as the computer name and the other as the computer name with a $ at the end. I have 100 CAL's and the server is set two Per Seat. I only have about 80 users on the Server but yet I go over the 100 CAL's. What am I doing wrong?

go to services and turn of license logging services 🙂

I called MS once and that is indeed what they recommend. This is also the recommendation of our "expert" consultants ...

anyway, as long as you keep enough CAL onsite, you should be fine when audit comes

So if I have two Windows 2000 Servers with 100 clients conecting to them and have 100 CAL's on site then everything is fine?
