WinNT, Win2K, WinXP (Classic & Novell) logon question...

Just a quick question. Is there a way to alter the timeout for network authentication during login? We have some issues with some of our Upper Ups not clicking Workstation Only when not connected. I would like to find a way to speed up the fail over or, even better, auto sense no connection and not even try. Primarily an issue with laptops, of course.

This has to be totally transparent to the user. Mostly because the ones that are currently bitching are the Execs and Upper management sales.

I implemented something similar, but it required Novell writing a custom client for the organization :/ Check with your Novell support as I think you will find Novell integration [tree selection, etc] will be the biggest hurdle in this issue.

Good luck on this one...i worked with Novell for ages and got nowhere.
You can set it up to auto select workstation only, but of course they wont be logged into the network if you do.
