WinNT: "set | more" command, while looking at: username

abc

Diamond Member
this command is run in a DOS box and outputs environment variables & stuff. It also shows what your NT username is. Here's the wacked out thing, it shows that there is a username with 1 capital, like: Bmarley, rather than bmarley.

It's wacked cuz when the user logs into the PC, he types bmarley & it works.

Now it's not his local profile that contains the problem, we deleted it and had it regenerated to no avail.

Is there a way to change this username to all lowercase?

I realize this, however I do not know how this is possible but it is. We do a set command & it will show the userid to have the first letter as a capital. Meanwhile the user logs into the PC fine typing lowercase.
