Winmgmt.exe error over and over

My computer has been off for for 5 days and was working fine the last time I used it. I boot it up today and it gives me a bunch of WinMgmt.exe errors pretty much 1 a minute, in a any program. I turned thta program off in administrator and the errors are gone but I would like to know the root cause of the problem. Anyone take a guess?
