Being the fool that I am I recently upgraded Windows Media Player 7 to the ripped version of Win Media Player 8. The build version I have is 8.00.00.4228
This is giving me a problem with the playlists. It just doesn't retain them and also you can't search your computer for media files such as mp3's. It just gives an error message.
I have tried overwriting with ver.7.1 which has just come out but this doesn't work.
Can anyone please tell me how this situation can be remedied. A full disk format is a bit extreme but that's what I'm facing.
Many Thanks,
Pete
