WinME won't install

Just bought a Dell laptop and wanted to use internet connesstion sharing. Unfortunatley my desktop with Win98 doesn't support this. I tried a clean install of WinME on my desktop using the Dell disk but it says "This version of WinME cannot be installed on your computer". Is there any work-around? Thanx, Bob
