WinME & Win2k dual boot - delete one?

mangled

Senior member
I have Windows ME and Windows 2000 setup as a dual boot on my laptop. I wanted to see if it would run Win2k and it does just fine. Is it possible to now delete WinME and just use Win2k? I need the space on my hard drive. Can I just delete the old Windows folder for WinME? And in startup just uncheck the ability to select an OS at startup so Win2k is the first and only choice?

Or, do I have to wipe out the hard drive and start over? If so, last question is, how do I wipe out the hard drive if I don't have a floppy drive?

Thanks.
