WinMe/W2K install and dualboot question.

I already have Win98se/W2K setup and running right now. I've got a copy of WinMe full version I'd like to install over Win98se. I know clean install is whole lot better, but I'll have to format my C drive, which will destroy my dual boot setup.

According to the readme.txt I should install WinMe first before installing W2k for dualboot. Is there anything else I can to avoid this hassle?

By the way, I've ghosted W2k partition. Will it fully, w2k and dualboot setup, restore?

No to the restore.

You can format, install WinME, then boot up from the Win2K CDROM and choose the repair option to restore your boot menu.
