WinMe+VIA KT133 will not install built-inTrident Cyberblade i7 display

In Win99, no problem. After installing WinME, when I try to change the Display Adapter from STd VGA to the Trident i7, message "not written for this hardware". When I install anyway, says it can't find the "chipmap". Will then broose to the VIA download of lastest drivers/vga and can finish install of i7.

Most of the time the display response is about -5 times as fast as other times. Once in a while response is right on. Any thoughts?

The driver may not be 100% compatiable with WinME,have you the latest driver?,you may need to check or download the latest WinME driver for Trident i7.

Thanks for your reply. I have the lastest drivers from VIA, including their Vidio for the MPV4.
