WinME users beware of SMC NICs

the new version of the SMC ez-card NIC no longer has an SMC chip on it but has a MPX chip... this chip has some compatibilty issues w/ winME (possibly win9x... i haven't tried on the others... cuz i took the card back) when i returned the card i was told by the salesman that he has gotten a lot of returns of it especially w/ winME users (he didn't mention any other OS...)
i just thought i would post this so that you all would stay away from them...
