WinME update and IE 5.5 Error Message???

When I go to the windows update site, I get an error message that says:


<< You are running a version of Internet Explorer that is now longer supported by Microsoft. >>


WTF? I am running 5.5 downloaded from their site.

did you try to d/l ie5.5 and install it &quot;again&quot;?

I got the same problem when winME upgraded to 5.5 without asking me first...
