WinME to Winxp Upgrade Problem

I upgraded my OS to WinXP from WinME. The upgrade seemed to go ok. I converted the file system to NTFS and I can see all my files and programs, but the user account was not transfered over so I do not have access to my programs.

I can see all the programs I had installed in the Program Files folder, but they do not show up when I click Start All Programs. I thought I could could try and uninstall the upgrade but I do not see an option to do this.

If you kept the FAT32 instead of converting to NTFS then you would have had a chance to revert back
to WinMe. What you will have to do now is reload most or all of your Programs.

logon as administrator and change the security permissions would be my best guess

Some of your programs wont work because of the conversion from FAT32 to NTFS. I say your best be would be to load your applications and hope for the best. You cannot uninstall the upgrade without formatting.
