WinME shutdown problem

[Quaker]

Ok i have and asus A7V (no sound) w/a 1 gig t-bird, an ATI Radeon 64 Meg DDR, Soundblaster Live X-Gamer, a NIC, and a SCSI card for my burner. When i choose the option to shutdown windows the monitor just goes to a black screen and i have to manually power the computer off. Anyone with any ideas? Please.

I believe microsoft came out with a patch for the shutdown problem do a search on their website

I couldn't find an update for this on windows site... Only update was for explorer 5.5..
