WinMe Registry Cleaners

Have any of you found a good registry cleaner for WinMe. Will Regedit 4.1 Microsoft work? and has anyone used EasyCleaner? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

WinME has added a new section in the registry; it is not the same registry as in previous versions. Meaning, a reg cleaner that does not specifically say it works on ME can really screw it up. The only one I have found so far that incorporates ME is:

As a bonus you get really strange banner ads in a foreign lang.

If someone knows another one, post it here. I would be interested too.

i use the regular microsoft regckean prog
works fine

Hi, thanks for the info. Waytoomuchcoffee! you may have a problem. The link you gave me takes me to a site that says the program is NOT for winME? It does say the program is fine for Win9X, NT & 2000 though! Bonkers, I had read somewhere that indeed Regclean does work with WinME. The only drawback to regclean is that it apparently doesn't dig all that deep. Any comebacks on this one?

same program. The link I gave before is also v3.5. The page just hasnt been updated since 3.4, which evidently did not support ME.

Thanks waytoomuchcoffee. You were correct. I've got the new version and will give it a try shortly. I'm heading out fishing for one week. PS: If you're ever in Canada...you gotta try a Tim Horton's Coffee. Best MUD on the planet!
