WinME icons keep switching?

What would cause WinME to keep on screwing up various file types icons. like text files all use excel icon etc. but it happens randomly and uses what ever icon it feels like. when I use tweakui and rebuild cache it goes back to normal.

Try renaming the file shelliconcache, and reboot, it could be corrupted.
