winme: how do i hide all .dlls?

In WinME even when I have the folder options checked to hide system files I notice all .dlls can be seen still and it bothers me cause I am sick of looking at them all. So is there anyway to make all files of a certain file type to be hidden by default? I don't want to manually have to set each one to a hidden attribute.

It didn't do this in Win95 through Win98se, only in Win2k and WinME does it keep showing the .dlls.

well you can select them all, vice individually, then right click and select hidden.

I know this but that is what I don't want to do. I install things almost daily and really don't feel like searching for *.dll daily to highlight them all and set to hidden.
