How do I get rid of the "Type a user name and password to log on to Windows[/b" popup prompt as I boot up windows? I was able to get rid of it for Windows98..

If it is a MS Networking screen, download tweakui and set up automatic logon. If it is windows password, go into control panel/passwords and change the password to nothing

In the networking properties of Windows, you can also change it from Microsoft Family logon or Client for Microsoft Network to Windows logon (as long as the computer is not on a network).
