WinME and Win2k

I've got WinME on my other computer and I'm thinking about installing Win2k on this one. Think it'll be easy to network them or are there usually problems (since winme is a piece of crap, etc.)?

i am using winme and win2k, and they are networked together. any problems? 🙂

just think winme as the same as win98

The problem that people most often run into is getting the w2k machine to share its drives. You should create new shares - other than the default (C$, etc.) shares that are created at install - and when you create them, unless you have LAN security concerns, give share permission to everybody.

log the winme macine into the domain if the win2k(if server), and give the winme user asdmin rights on the win2k machine.
