Ok..lets hypothesize that something happens to my computer..like the registry becomes corrupt, or some of my system files get deleted or corrupt as well, and I am unable to boot the pc into winme or even safe mode. How do I use this restore stuff? Do I have to boot my pc up using the winme startup disk ? would that actually get me into winme?

I'm just wondering because there's no dos outside of winme, so I was wondering how i'd fix my system files otherwise (using this restore feature)

thx..hopefully you can understand what I mean by that jumble of words above.

Hey man, just look in your WinME Help/Fix a Problem/Use System Restore. There's a lot of other education material there as well.

The PC Health/System Restore stuff mainly works for bad driver installs or something similar. It is NOT intended to replace real backup/restore capabilities which have been around for ages.
