WinMe and IE 5.5

Had my system stable for a week running final install then installed filo from idrive. IE crashes the time now. Is there a way reinstall IE or restore its system files?

uh the ie 5.5 on the winme is old
ms will release the official ie 5.5 soon
u can upgrade

IE 5.5 in WinME is official.
Have you tried the system restore feature of winme? I am not exactly sure how it works, but it should let you restore your system to the point before you installed that software.
