WinME and DHCP Problems

I have run in to this problem twice now, both on Windows ME computers on our network here (Fair sized network 4 class c's in the DHCP pool). In both cases the Windows ME machine pulled down a .255 address which according to our setup is not possible. We have had this setup now for 2 years and have never had any problems before now. Has anyone else seen this before? Or does anyone know of a fix for it?
