My buddy just built a kt7 raid system. The system is stable except for when he tries to install his logitech wingman force feedback USB
it locks up after the installation disk reboots windows to finallize the install.?? then if he reboots again the system will lock every time coming back into windows?? then the only way to get back into windows is to go remove the wingman softwear from add and remove in safe mode. then boots fine again.
He had tried with both win 98 se and win me. both acting exactly the same. It shows up in device manager. He has installed the usb drivers and the filter and his microsoft optical usb mouse works just fine so there is working usb ports . He has also tried installing it with the optional comm port addapter with the same results. The stick is working for sure from testing it on his old system. Even when he goes to control panel and tries to add a stick from there as soon as he clicks on a stick to add it locks there to. He tried his old stick hooked up to the game port on the sb live xgamer and it locks to in control panel when he tries to add that one to??????? I have a K7V and the same stick and this did the
exact same thing to me to but i was overclocked with a gfd when i installed the stick same place it locked and everything. After i removed my gfd and when down to stock cpu speed it installed perfectly. Sorry for such a lengthy post but im stumped so far and not to fimiliar with the kt7.
Thanks :)

I also locked up installing off the CD

Just download the drivers off the site and install that way, it will work fine. I have a feeling Logitech let some corrupt drivers get on the CD.

I just installed my Wingman Force on my KT7-RAID last night. First I downloaded the latest drivers, but the install prog gave me a file not found error every time I tried. I dug up my CD and it intalled just fine. I have the original version of Win98. I am using the 4 in 1's just before the latest release(don't remember the version). It seems to work OK. I only played one Freespace mission last night. So, I have not tested it extensively.

I had the EXACT same issue with my A7V. I tried everything, with no success.

I plugged it in using serial, installed the latest drivers, and she works PERFECT. To be honest, I can't tell the diff between USB and serial....
